I've been thinking about this for awhile now. Just like you, I was mesmerized by the American Dream. But in reality, after few years living in the state, I realized that wherever you are, you can live that "American Dream" if you have motivation and strong will power :). And like you too, I'm glad for being able to study and grow in the state, moreover realize the true concept of "American Dream". Nice blog, this is very true! Mel, aku barusan liat friendster temen2ku yang jaman dulu. Ada yg still a "gangster," ada yg still "clubbing and bar-hopping," and some are nice (kaya temenku Irwan, thank God he hasn't changed). It made me think. I am definitely not attracted in those kind of things. I guess when you're saved, those people you used to know will become very strange to you. Unsure of ever going back home, I thought to myself the things that I could do there. In some ways, I don't wanna go, but on the other hand, I kinda miss "tanah air." I guess it really was tanah yg berair kebanjiran. LOL. I'll go wherever He wants me to go. Anyway, I used to shop at Banana Republic at lot, but not anymore. You got me there sweetheart.
